Score4TheFuture is our award-winning sports program for children and young adults living in Ritsona refugee camp. The program delivers Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) through sports activities based on Sport For Development methodologies.

Our core activities are football and basketball practice sessions, matches, and tournaments. We also sometimes offer dance, yoga and other sports activities. These take place at sport facilities located relatively close to Ritsona camp (approximately an hour north of Athens).

We seek a dynamic team leader ready to manage the day-to-day responsibilities of Score4TheFuture. In this role, you will plan and oversee sports sessions, maintain the project budget, manage staff and volunteers, contribute to grant proposals and reports, and liaise with partner organisations. We seek two sports facilitators to implement football, basketball, and other sports sessions for our award-winning ScoreForTheFuture project. In this role, you will accompany participants from the camp to sports facilities and lead the practice sessions or oversee the games and tournaments. This is a part-time position based near Athens. We are looking for one or more interns to join our Score4TheFuture program team for a minimum of two months starting in June 2025. Experience coaching sports and working with children and youth in vulnerable contexts is preferred. The application period will open in May 2025. We are also looking for volunteers (for a minimum period of one month). Volunteer applications should be made through the “Volunteer” section of the website.
